Delete your GroupHug account

It takes one press, from inside GroupHug. No email and no form.

How to delete it

  1. Sign in at grouphug.tv.
  2. Open Settings, then Account.
  3. Press Delete my account, and confirm.

What happens

  • Right away. Your videos and photos stop showing on every TV and to everyone in your Circle, and you're signed out everywhere.
  • For seven days. Nothing is removed. Sign back in and everything is as you left it.
  • After seven days. Your account, your Circle, your videos and photos, your paired TVs, your watch history and anything you added to someone else's Circle are deleted for good.

What stays

  • A copy of one of your videos that someone saved to their own collection stays theirs.
  • Files a SaveThis digitizing order delivered stay with that order at savethis.ca. To have those removed as well, email [email protected].
  • GroupHug's backups keep their own copy for a while longer. It is never restored, and it goes as the backups roll over.
  • The Owner of a Circle with other people in it deletes the account with GroupHug by email, so nobody loses the collection by surprise.

Can't sign in?

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, and GroupHug deletes it within seven days.
